Justine is excited to have found her new dance home here at South Tulsa Dance. She wants to thank all of the kids and parents for the welcoming embrace she’s felt! Justine Phillips Orf has recently relocated to Tulsa from Plano, Texas. Justine and her husband,Tony, have been married for eleven years and have a three year old boy named Paxton and two Labrador Retrievers.
Justine began her professional performance career immediately out of high school. Justine was selected for the NBA’s Dallas Mavericks Dance Team, where she danced on the Mavs home court for three seasons. Justine is most proud of the 5 years she spent dancing on the NFL sidelines with the world famous Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. She was a member of the DCC's elite Show Group, and was honored to travel with the USO on seven tours overseas to perform for our Armed Forces. Justine served as a DCC Group Leader for two years, and was selected as the 2010 Pro Bowl Cheerleader Representative. She appeared throughout the first 5 seasons of Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Making The Team reality show. Justine continued to represent the DCC organization for an additional three seasons as a DCC All-Star.
Throughout her dance career, Justine has always had a passion for teaching her love of dance to young and old. She taught in Plano at KJ Dance for 18 years, which is the same dance studio she grew up in, under the direction of her life-long dance teacher, Kristy Blakeslee. Justine served as the hip hop team director and pioneered the Drill Team and Pom program at KJ. She has also worked as a choreographer for many Dallas area youth camps, high school and college dance teams, and sports teams.
