Kristin grew up in Massachusetts and began dancing at the age of 2 at the Joan Louise School of Dance. She fell in love with tap dancing at a very young age! She competed both regionally and nationally as a tap dancer for several years and also taught ballet and tap at the studio while in high school. After graduating from high school, she was accepted into the Dance Performance program at Oklahoma City University and moved to Oklahoma! She was a member of the American Spirit Dance Company while studying there. After completing her Bachelor’s Degree, Kristin moved to Tulsa to attend the OSU College of Osteopathic Medicine and graduated in 2001 with a Doctorate Degree in Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her residency in Emergency Medicine and worked full-time as an emergency room physician for St Johns for more than 10 years. She resigned from practicing medicine full time in 2018 to be able to home-school her children. Kristin has been married to her wonderful husband, Jack, for 16 years. Together, they have 4 beautiful children - Mikaela (19), Melanie (14), Harrison (14) and Amelia (8). When she is not teaching her children and not teaching dance, Kristin enjoys reading, music, photography, being outdoors and most of all spending time with her family. Kristin has always been involved in dance, even through the many years of school and growing her family. She is excited to be teaching dance again, to give back to the art form she has always loved the most!
