Leslie grew up in Tulsa, OK and graduated from Union High School! Her entire childhood was spent competing optional level gymnastics and cheerleading until she headed to the University of Oklahoma and continued her cheerleading career for the Sooners until graduating in 2003. After receiving a BS in Radiation Sciences from OU and post graduate degree in Radiology Physicians Assistant from Loma Linda University, and marrying her middle school sweetheart Ryan, Leslie continued to coach what she loved for so many years! She coached gymnastics in Tulsa and a local Tulsa Public School cheer squad before having three wonderful children. Leslie resigned from her full time job at a local radiology group after 10 years to be a full time mom, then re-entering the coaching world teaching tumbling and also coaching through Bixby Youth Cheer in her spare time! She now teaches tumbling for South Tulsa Dance Co. giving back to what she loved her entire childhood! Outside of teaching tumbling, she teaches Physics at Tulsa Community College, contract work for a local physician and a full time bus driver and personal cheerleader to all of her kids activities such as dance, soccer, baseball and wrestling! Leslie's daughter Maguire dances for THR!VE and loves being a part of the STDC family.
