South Tulsa Dance Co. Policy Agreement
By completing the online registration, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to the following policies of South Tulsa Dance Co. ("STDC").
Monthly Tuition: August tuition is discounted 50% and due upon registration. Regular tuition rates apply from September through May. Tuition rates are available on the STDC website. Registration submission does not initiate automatic payment. STDC will review each registration to apply applicable discounts before processing payments. Email notifications will be sent for each charge to the billing email address on file.
Enrollment Fees: $40 for one dancer, $60 for two dancers, $75 for three or more dancers. Charged at time of registration
Payment of Fees and NSF Charges: Tuition is automatically withdrawn on the 1st or 5th of each month (September–May.) Tuition may also be paid year in full for a 10% discount or semester in full for a 5% discount Recital costume and recital fees will be automatically withdrawn on specified dates. STDC does not issue refunds for tuition. By submitting this registration, you authorize STDC to electronically debit your bank account or credit card for any returned or declined payment, including but not limited to NSF or failed automatic drafts. A $25 administrative fee will be assessed for each failed transaction. A $25 late fee will automatically be applied to accounts with unpaid balances for 5 days past the due date. Continued non-payment may result in the suspension of class participation until the account is brought current.
Recital and Costume Fees Recital Fee: $75 for one dancer, $125 per family (two or more dancers, additional $25 for solos Due with March tuition. Costume Fee: $100 per costume. Due with December tuition STDC will ensure that all dancers are properly measured and that costume sizes are selected for the best possible fit. No returns or refunds.
Withdrawals and Refunds: A two-month minimum is required for all registered classes. Withdrawals must fill out a withdrawal form within the first 10 days of the previous month and it should be submitted to a front desk staff member (not an instructor) You may finish classes for the month that is already paid for and all automatic payments will cease following the applicable notice period. Withdrawals will not be accepted after April 1st. No REFUNDS.
Calendar of Important Dates: The school calendar includes closings, viewing days, and events. STDC reserves the right to amend the calendar. All updates will be communicated via email and social media. It is the responsibility of the parent or adult student to stay informed about STDC functions.
Photo Release: STDC may use photographs of dancers for promotional purposes, including on the website and social media. To opt-out, contact the studio directly, and your request will be honored.
Extreme Weather, Interruptions, and Substitutions: STDC follows Jenks and Union Public Schools for weather closures. No refunds for cancellations due to extreme weather or events beyond STDC’s control. If a class is canceled more than twice due to such events, a make-up class will be added. Substitute instructors may be used if a regular teacher is unavailable.
Attendance & Tardiness: Students who are consistently late may be asked to sit out, being late is a distraction to the other dancers in the class. To ensure you are getting a good dance education, good attendance is crucial, especially in competition classes.
Dress Code: Appropriate attire and shoes are required for all classes: No jeans or outdoor shoes in the studio No jewelry Hair must be secured back Dance shoes should not be worn outside the dance rooms. See the STDC attire tab on our website for specific requirements.
Care of Students: STDC does not provide before or after class care. STDC is not responsible for students left excessively early or late. Parents of children under 6 must remain on-site until class begins and pick up promptly.
Injuries & Illness: STDC prioritizes the health and safety of all students. To maintain a safe and productive learning environment, the following guidelines are in place: Injury: If a dancer is injured, parents/guardians should notify the instructor and/or office. Injured students are encouraged to observe class when possible. Illness: Students with fever, vomiting, diarrhea, or other contagious symptoms should not attend class until symptom-free for 24 hours without medication. STDC may request any ill student to be picked up early or refrain from class. Medical Emergencies: STDC will contact the parent/guardian and, if needed, emergency services. Return to class: Clearance from a physician may be required after serious illness or injury. Parents, legal guardians, or adult students waive the right to legal action for injuries occurring on studio property resulting from normal class activity.
