Shana grew up dancing from the age of seven in various dance studios in her childhood home town of Chickasha Oklahoma. Throughout her teenage years she competed in regional dance competitions, National Fine Arts competitions and with the High School Pom team. Shana attended ORU for undergrad to train in dance performance and received technical training in Ballet, Modern, Jazz and Tap styles as well as choreography and pedagogy. Shana has performed and trained with various dance companies, while in undergrad she was accepted to perform at ACDA and is a former company member of The Legacy Project. Shana has always had a passion for teaching and choreography, she started choreographing solos for younger students and teaching/choreographing at her studio when she was sixteen. Shana continues to dance professionally as a free lance artist and is dedicated to continuing to be a student of dance by training regularly in classes in Tulsa and Los Angeles. Shana enjoys teaching various styles of dance and loves to challenge her students to grow both as artists and technical dancers.
